Hundreds of rare aviation items and artifacts are on display at Gordon Page's Spirit of Flight Hall of Honor in Erie, Colorado representing the past, present and future of flight. The core of the collection features WWII items including aircraft, aircraft parts, rare engines, memorabilia, art, uniforms and much more. Gordon takes us to the Holy Land via an R-44 helicopter. He was on a mission from God. We are happy to have Gordon, an aircraft appraiser by trade, contribute to PilotMag. Welcome, Gordon

Hearing the distant rumble of a radial engine, John’s interest perked. As the Beaver flew overhead, never in his wildest dreams would he have expected a working Beaver in Fiji. John
is a professional photographer/videographer from Sacramento, California and specializes in aviation photography, and general aviation cinematography. John’s background as a corporate pilot and his involvement with a family photo lab have helped him develop a unique approach to aerial imagery. New to PilotMag, John writes “Beavers in Paradise”, an amazing story of a workhorse from the north flying in the south for our Sept/Oct 2009 issue. Who could resist Fiji? We welcome John to the PilotMag team.
